German website Golem.de landed brief hands-on time with Sony’s upcoming S1 and S2 tablets. The devices provided by Sony for this session were apparently of the prototype variety, which means that there may be some hardware revisions before these devices hit retail. The S1 weighs about 900 grams and is reportedly comfortable to hold due to its folded-magazine like form factor.
The clamshell designed S2 with dual 5.5 inch touch-screen display was also part of this preview, and Golem.de were courteous enough to post a 19 second video about it. According to these reports, both the S1 and S2 will come with PlayStation Suite access, similar to the Xperia Play.
